It won't matter, Boise State is still the team to beat here.

Have you noticed that they are a little obsessed with Boise St football up there in Boise? Wow!

They are the next Nebraska, and have the weakling schedule to prove it.

"Aggies beat the Utes, BYU beats both the Aggies and Utes. The Utes beat...do they play North Dakota State this year? And Nebraska beats EVERYONE!"

Keep dreaming Thomas! BYU can't beat Utah to save their lives. They can keep the game close but they just can't find a way to win those close ones. The Utes will win 4 in a row, and 9 of 12 against BYU. Utah will get it's revenge against USU with the game being in Salt Lake. BYU will lose to the Aggies because the game is in Logan. We all remember the 31-16 thumping the Cougies got from the Aggies the last time BYU made a trip up to Logan. That loss was much uglier than Utah's loss last year.

Don't be so sure about that first prediction.

I am not talking smack about ANY in state games... all 3 games seem like they could be close, and home field advantage is a big factor.

Go Aggies!

Utah is about to complete the career 4-0 sweep with the graduating seniors over byu.

How embarrassing.

I wonder what it feels like to never beat your rival.

We'll be able to as Van Noy and HOffman soon!

I'm not going to argue that BYU has lost to Utah three straight. However, you realize this series dates back a little longer than three games, right? BYU has pulled out many, many close victories against your beloved Utes. To say BYU can't win the close ones is ignorant.

You sure are confident supporting a team who is likely to win 4, or MAYBE 5 games this year. Only 12 returning starters, a new OC, an overrated QB (remember how hot you Utes were on Wilson? He was atrocious last year!) and ZERO depth in the backfield. Sounds like a recipe for success, right? Hahaha, keep dreaming.

Mark this one down: If U stumble even a little bit coming out of the gate, it could be a VERY long season for U.

Chris B,

You said you wonder what it feels like to never beat your rival? Obviously you aren't counting your basketball team experiences. :)

Is there a reason that the News feels an obligation to pimp USU football? What ever happened to paying the price, having to prove yourself? With TWO wins vs winning teams in 13 years none vs winning BCS teams, I'm at a loss to understand this instant credibility.

Lightening Lad,

Why do you care? Find something better to do like, I don't know, reading articles that actually pertain to your team. News coverage of the Aggies moving into the MWC is exactly that, news. You should look it up sometime.

Gee it's funny you are saying that. I just find it commical you don't follow your own advice. Take your own advice before you expect people to take it.

I can somewhat understand that coming from someone who hasn't been watching USU football for the last few years. The Aggies were on a long skid from 1998 to 2008 with some really poor performances all around.

But Gary Andersen, the former coach, really turned it around and left a great foundation to build off of. He led USU to their best season in school history and he didn't leave the cupboards bare, either. Though he left for Wisconsin, he also left us with much better recruiting, facilities, fundraising, and a proven system for success.

The internal hire of Matt Wells, the former OC, should really help with continuity, too. There's plenty of reason to be excited about the Aggies moving forward. Just watch Chuckie Keeton play this season and you will see why, my friend.

No one is "pimping" the aggies. It's a local news article about a local team.

It's been a minute since the Aggies have been beat by more than one score.Last year we average 15.4 points against, and only 2 schools scored 27 points or more against us, and we won both games, one of them in blow out fashion.
