    "He don't need to follow no stinkin' Ute!"

    Weddle is a class act no matter who he played for in college and no one should be ashamed of following in his footsteps.

    @RedUtes08

    That's the sort of good-nature ribbing that has gotten lost in the heated and emotional back and forth among Ute and Cougar fans (Yes, I'm looking at you Chris B.

    Now, KVN should have a great NFL career like Dennis Pitta, Brett Keisel, Kurt Gouveia or Steve Young. Eric Weddle indeed! Plenty of Cougar footsteps to follow in. He don't need to follow no stinkin' Ute!

    "I Really like and respect Kyle Van Noy as a person and a player. He definitely represents the state of Utah in a respective way. Glad to see him receive so much recognition for what he is doing. Hope he is able to be a force in the NFL and follow in Eric Weddle's footsteps in the way he has accomplished so much so far."

    True, Weddle is beastly both on and off the field.

    No doubt this KVN is the real deal. He is a stud and watching him win the game against San Diego State last year was amazing. Here is my only worry. How will his game translate into the NFL? I understand that Bronco uses his OLB the same what that the Texans do, if that is the case, I think KVN is a top pick next year and will have a great career in the pros.

    GO UTES!!

    KVN is the best player BYU has had in a very long time. Congrats on another preseason recognition, I hope 2013 ends in another shiny trophy for BYU and KVN.

    If his 2013 season is like last year, his NFL stock will soar. BYU's overall defense may be a notch down from last, but it will be a small notch.

    Way to go KVN. He is a stud and will tear up offenses this year.
    Best LB for the best team in the state.

    USU, the 2nd best team in the state, has the best offensive player in the state at QB.
