This is obviously big financially but is even bigger for recruiting. I love the trend we're seeing with former Utes giving back and putting their name on various facilities at the U.

Paul Soliai was rated as a 4-star lineman out of Coffeyville C.C. back in 2004. Who would have thought a 4-star kid would one day have made it to the NFL and become a Pro-Bowl DT selection? Certainly not the Indy-WACers. They're convinced the 2-star kids are the ones on the fastest track to Canton.

It's amazing how these young men come to Utah as individuals and leave as family. The same holds true when they move between state schools for coaching opportunities. Funny how the loyalty all works out regardless of Red vs. Blue - Cougars are now Utes and Utes have become Cougars. I even know a Ute grad close to embarking on Badger loyalty.
