Our visit a few years ago to Denmark was highlighted by Bloch's works, it'll be great to see them over here now too! BYU shows continued commitment to furthering our exposure to great works of art, thanks to the LDS Church for making this possible for us!

Religious art on display at any public institution of higher learning would be vigorously protested by anti-Christian activists. Thank goodness for BYU!

I served a mission in Denmark. Our family later lived in Denmark for three years. Our favorite activity for the family and when we had visitors was to see the Karl Bloch paintings. There is no way words can describe his excellence in talent to highlight the messages given in each painting. They must be felt and pondered. He truly used the message of "light" to bring out the main theme of his paintings. They must be "seen" AND felt. Blessings to my alma mater in presenting these
marvelous paintings.
