TATORSHad I known teacher's pay in Texas was so meager that they
can't afford more than one outfit every 40 years, I certainly would've
been willing to donate to this poor man's cause.Yes Tators, I
guess TX should do like CA and just keep pouring more and more money into their
failing school system and then go broke and let the rest of the country bail
them out. This is about to happen in CA., because they are too big to fail.
Texas teachers are paid better than their counterparts in Utah. A starting
teacher in our district starts out at $47,000.00 a year. With advanced degrees
a teacher can make over $60,000.00 a year. We have no state income tax. I
think this teacher has a better sense of humor than Tators in Hyrum. If this
man in Richardson didn't love teaching he would not have continued for 40
years in an often thankless field that deserves far more respect than it
receives. He leaves a great legacy for the students and the school.
It is fun to watch his eye glasses progress through the years!
