The heat is on — and it's sticking around for a while

    He's being sarcastic. His comment is a pot shot at global warming deniers who always post comments about "shoveling 6 inches of global warming off the driveway" every time we get a snowstorm.

    The bottom line is weather is not the same as climate, and a heat wave is not evidence that global warming is real any more than a cold snap or snowstorm is not evidence that global warming is fake. Global warming IS real, and that can be easily shown, but this heat wave is not evidence of that.

    Why is it that hot weather, and it is hot, is always proof of global warming, but cold weather is simply climate variation and doesn't mean anything?

    Where are all the climate change deniers now? Records are being destroyed from Los Angeles to Houston.

    It's time folks. We must make changes. This is really beginning to get scary.
