Sad that we've let a disease that is so completely in our control to get out of control.

In developing nations it great we're educating people.

Sadly though, such as here in the United States, many people make terrible(and typically immoral) decisions that perpetuate the disease even in developed countries.

To someone who doesn't want to get lung cancer - don't smoke

To someone who doesn't want to get HIV - don't make bad/immoral decisions that will lead to it.

Yes, 1 in 10,000,000 in the USA will get AIDS through hospital errors and such, but the majority of new HIV cases in the USA are from people's bad/immoral decisions

of course, NONE of the libs will give bush any credit for the work he did in this area. It hurts their stereotype of the man.

Sadly with the current state of politics that is true, but it does not diminish what he tried to do. I obviously disagreed with much of what bush did while in office but I do not think he is or was a bad man.
