I wonder if the opening of Corner Canyon High School will affect the enrollment numbers of Juan Diego Catholic High School or did it not affect that school at all?

I fail to see why Hillcrest would be poised to see a drop in enrollment over the addition of Corner Canyon HS? Alta and Jordan HS are both closer to Corner Canyon, and Brighton HS is almost just as close. The article makes is seem as though Hillcrest was expecting to see a dip in enrollment, but I can't believe that they realistically anticipated a lot of those students opting to go to the brand new school. Were they expecting them to go to other schools as students at those schools opted to go to the new school? This article wasn't written very clarly...

Corner Canyon High School is not the first Public High School built in Draper. Summit Academy is a public High School currently in operation in the city. Even with the poor and inaccurate information presented I appreciate knowing Hillcrest is growing.
