"Parkinson also believes it will bring down insurance premiums." No freaking way, he's dreaming or lying. Even if this ruling eventually reduced the cost of some genetic tests (I'm not convinved it will) other, rising costs will overwhelm it.

That being said, I don't think it is right, as a matter of law or morality, to patent naturally ocurring genes. I beleive the Supreme Court made the correct decision.
