Liberals let me get this straight, imagine we have equally qualified people, one black and one white

it's not ok to give college admittance to a white person over a black person because the white person is white and the black person is black

But it is not only ok but encouraged to give admittance to a black person over a white person because the black person is black and the white person white.

Why does that seem wrong?

End racism, end affirmative action

I could have sworn dr king said he wanted people to be treated NOT by the color of their skin

It's unbelievable that liberals have turned that to now be:

People SHOULD be judged by the color I their skin

Dr king marched AGAINST affirmative action

I am with dr king on this one

End racism, end affirmative action

A friend of my received his MA from a well-respected university in the Washington D.C. area that had an affirmative action policy . At first it was challenging educational experience and he was enjoying the classwork and felt he was learning a lot. Then, he and several of the students noticed that the course work was being watered down. Why? Because it was obvious that some of the affirmative action students just could not handle the demanding academic expectations. He and his friends were disturbed about it but couldn't do anything about it. I saw a similar thing happening at BYU when I was in graduate school there. These programs, though idealistic, are not realistic and they are unfair to those that worked the hardest to prepare themselves.

Affirmative action is little more than an updated, politically correct version of the Doctrine of Original Sin, applied to white people. If you're white, you are subjected to an inherited form of ancestral guilt which is not applied to anybody else. While this concept of guilt may exist in the imaginations of liberals - it does not exist anywhere in reality.
