    ThornBirds:

Imagine, Obama spent more of our money for vacations than Romney's total wealth.

One can't help but wonder if they all sit down and count their money together.
Then.... must humble themselves and congratulate the winner with the largest portfolio.
Maybe a little political talk on the side?

Thank you to the GOP "base" and the Romneys for insuring that the GOP will continue to lose support.

The "foot soldiers" (old "socialists" on Medicare and Social Security) tried walking our neighborhood, and guess what?
They got schooled quickly, by knowledgeable Utah citizens.

From statements at the other Salt Lake paper it would seem they talked about rushing to the middle.
Obviously, no one had a copy of the party platform to discuss. They've become campaigners first and teachers of conservatism last.
Romney lost because people in his own party stayed home. And their strategy seems to be to continue to offend the base.
The people who wrote and approved the GOP platform are the politically active foot soldiers you need to walk the neighborhoods. If you ignore them and the things they believe in, you cannot win.
This conference is sending the early money in precisely the wrong direction.
