Just don't know what to say about these Thursday game schedules, late start times, and obscure tv channel line ups.

Not a huge fan of the 8:00pm start times but it makes sense considering the west coast PAC 12 fan base coupled with Utah needing to take a step or two forward this year. Hopefully Utah starts the season strong and earns their way into more desirable TV slots as the season progresses.

I like the late start times, Sitting down to a football game after a long day is the best feeling in the world.

For both Utah and the Utes, tv exposure can be a double edged sword. It's a wonderful thing if you win, but if you loose and do it on a consistent basis, then it doesn't matter because eventually the fan base will just loose interest and nobody cares anymore. I wish both teams will be wildly successful and continue to schedule each other in the future. And this childish hating on both sides is getting too old and ridiculous. Some folks just can't grow up I guess which is pretty sad.

Excellent schedule and I love the evening games...too many distractions during the day. Every game televised...it doesn't get any better than this!

What a great time to be a Ute!

Why do the BYU fans constantly troll and comment on Utah articles, it's pretty obvious your attention is on us instead of your own team.

It's pretty cool that all of the PAC 12 games will be televised. I also like the Thursday night games. It's rough for the Utah fans back home to have the 8:00 PM start game, but it works out well for me here in the PST. Also nice that COMCAST carries all of the channels.

I prefer night games as it is easier for me to take care of business and be able to watch the games at night. I hate that all afternoon games end up conflicting with my Air Force Reserve weekends.

Dont get why BYU fans are complaining, do they want to watch us play that badly?

The Thursday night game against UCLA following a bye is actually very good timing. It means extra prep time for the games against UCLA and Stanford.

There are exactly two BYU fan comments on this article, both from the same person. On the Tom Holmoe BYU article in this issue, there are more Utah fan comments than BYU commenters. Who is paying more attention to someone else's team?

Congrats to ute fans, they finally get some games on TV that people can find easily. Hooray!

I'm with you, I'd love to get more games scheduled on weeknights. It's hard to watch games on Saturday because I have kids going to sporting events, home projects I need to get done, church assignments, etc. I never have time on Saturday.

As for BYU fans wanting to watch Utah games there were a couple games I wanted to watch last year and wasn't able to find them in my cable lineup (I no longer live in the area). This will be much better than getting games on Root Sports or Fox Sports NW (did anyone get that channel?!).

It's the 64% of ute fans that would rather beat BYU and have a losing season than have a winning season and go to a bowl game.

8pm home games are fine as long as it's not in November. Hope not.

I hate all November night games north of Phoenix. 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm.

I don't mind them so far in October and Thursday is great after a bye.

So good, so far.

Hmmm. Was't it just last year that the Utah fans were commentig on how BYU could not get the good TV spots and an independent? Funny how the terrible slots are just fine now that Utah is in the same shoes.

Not the same shoes yet. We don't have the November schedule.

A 9pm home game in November to play Idaho is not yet. Glad to see the Y stopped that.

I find the comments made by moaners about their opposing school(s), a waste of my time, but sometimes, it's curiously interesting why some lingering whiners are bothered by the mere existence of something other than themselves. True champions eventually discover that it is the quality and strength of their opponents which determine the worth of their victories! Momentary victory streaks do not make champions…

I have wondered: why do they so consistently and so "faithfully" say similar things every time? And, what would happen if they checked back to see who had been bothered by their comments, and found NOTHING - no comments about them whatsoever?

The people who consistently write strangely similar negative comments about the opposing school(s) obviously have some internal issue which they seek to calm by re-directing their discontent to a highly visible and vulnerable opponent. Psych majors need to address this one.

If the rest of us never, NEVER comment about the constant complainers, how long before the complainers would tire of getting NO attention, and find some other place to self-medicate their internal miseries by hating something else?

But then, would the rest of us lose interest here?

Fox Sports 1 - that's hysterical. I guess Public TV opted for Materpiece Theater rather than utah football. Good choice.
