I don't know what game Coach Kreis was watching when Chicago scored, but the throw-in was done with both hands clearly over the sideline player's head, with his feet staying behind the sideline until after the ball was released --- it was simply a strong, perfectly-delivered ball coupled with questionable RSL defense. Coach Kreis was just upset at losing two points when he made his sour grape comment.

Pretty sure Kreis knows what a bad throw-in is better than you. And when the ball is thrown with sidespin, that tells you it didn't come directly over the head with both hands, which is inconsistent with the rule that "the ball must be delivered directly over the head with both hands" (see FIFA Laws of the Game, Law 15).
