Is there a test to compare 'pain' across both genders? Say, shingles
vs birth? birth vs kidney stones? shingles vs kidney stones? Or, we can as women
who have given birth and had shingles. I have. Shingles won.
I just have to chime in here! I worked as an RN in labor and delivery for 4
years. Three years of that was at an Indian Health Service hospital where they
gave NO pain meds. I saw the type of pain these women went through. THEN, I had
a baby myself with NO pain meds. 99.9% of women forget how bad the pain is
because of Post Traumatic Stress where we block out painful memories. Right
after I had my baby however, I stubbed my toe. Holy Hannah, a flood of painful
memories of my labor came rushing back and I REMEMBERED my pain! It was exactly
like stubbing my toe! It shoots up your body! But you have to stub your toe
every 5-10 minutes for a good 20 hours to appreciate what labor really is for
women...BAD. My motto now is epidural, epidural, epidural! Just have a woman
test the labor simulator herself and she'll tell ya if it's realistic
If MEN had to have babies, the human race would have been extinct long ago.And every time I see a mother juggling two kids and one more in a baby
carrier along with seven bags of groceries, I'm amazed. How do
they do it?????????All I can say is: I'm sure glad I was a boy
. . . . . .
Try cluster headaches... they don't call them "suicide headaches"
for nothing! I wanted my life to end when I had one. Women who have had them
say that they FAR exceed anything they went through with childbirth.
Passing a kidney stone is similar. So eat a lot of fatty food for awhile, then
you will get your free kidney stone to experience contractions. The thing with
kidney stones is you have no control over the pain as it passes though to your
bladder. Then you will have mercy on your wife.
