Ok. 7 articles on Weddle is enough. I love the guy but lets not turn Weddle into our version of Ziggy. An article or so a year is great. 7 in 3 days is getting excessive.

I'm no Utah fan but when was the last time the Deseret News wrote an informative column about a former Ute star? How can you even compare Weddle to Ziggy? Weddle is a NFL star and Ziggy is not. Is it because Weddle is Mormon? Seems to me you have something against Mormons, but it shouldn't really suprise me. You would fit right in with the trolls from the SLTRIB. They are always talking trash about the LDS church.

Chris, these articles aren't being posted here to prop up Eric Weddle...they're being posted to help a Deseret News writer sell his book. And honestly, which would you rather have: More articles about former Utes who have gone on to great things, or more articles about how BYU is going to win a national championship this year?

Don't bite the hand that feeds you, man.

Brave Sir Robin - you are correct, Sir, on every point!

Go Utes!!

Area 52 - why stop at former Ute star, when are they going to write anything about Singleton, the 6'5" speedster wide receiver and future Ute??

@VegasUte

We all know the Deseret News leans toward favorable articles about Mormons. Becuase frankly there is not alot of us out there in the sports world that are on a "Star" level. So, when an article that is about a former Ute or Cougar player that is achieving greatness in sports, somebody like Chris B has to knock them because they are Mormon. I can see if this was the SLTRIB but it's not.
