Our family have the greatest memories when we allowed for the extra time to travel US 89 instead of I-15. Absolutely an extremely scenic drive. It's what a road trip should be!

It's a great road and well worth the extra time. The section of 89 south of Hatch and through Kanab is one of the most beautiful sections in Utah. It's incredible on a motorcycle.

If you think highway 89 is beautiful, and it is, try state highway 12 from Torrey to Escalante. Truly one on Americas gems!
