The article mentioned a budget deficit yet did not fully explain or account how OSD got themselves in this mess. The article gave blame to sequestration. If the deficit existed BEFORE the sequestration than it could not have caused the deficit. So what happened to the money?

So what is the truth OSD?

DNews should investigate. OSD should tell the truth.

Ogden schools are among the states worst but had made some recent upticks. I find this news sad and will hurt the students of this district. I wonder why so many school boards are afraid to raise taxes or even ask for one. If the people say "NO" they say no but one has to ask. If they say No then there isn't much to complain about, their children will get what the parents want I suppose.

Utah-where it's always about the children! Nothing but lip service from the hypocrites on the hill and the folks who continue to put them back there every election.
