Chris B... You will never own us in anything. Keep dreaming. BYU v Utah is such a hyped up game on the Utah side. I really wish that we would just stop playing you forever and watch the days return when you have to give away free tickets to fill the stadium.

Mike W,

Didnt produce much pass rush for BYU? are you serious? He single handedly provided pass rush and BYU didnt even need to blitz because of him. not a smart comment to make.

"why are the first two comments BYU fans already defending something that hasn´t even been said?"

It was said, but as often happens, Christy's initial comment was deleted.

Frankly, there's nothing to debate here.

Ziggy being picked 5th in the 2013 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions is now an historical fact. Just like BYU's 1984 National Championship, Ty Detmer's Heisman Trophy, or BYU's eighteen Top 25 finishes, it doesn't matter how many whiny, jealous posts the kids on the hill make, they're never going to change history.

I wish the Browns could have drafted him.

What a stupid article.

The Lions, who had the 5th pick, had two players rated above Ansah. Duh! So they got their 3rd rated player with the 5th pick. Smarter than getting your 10th rated player with the 5th pick I'd say.

Curious article about Ansah from the Detroit front office and equally strange negative comments from some readers. The best way to counter it Ziggy is to put QBs on their back.

So wwookie... Do you follow American Football and the NFL because your comment sounds like you don't... The Lions lost both of the their DEs at the end of the season... They very much needed DEs and Ziggy is the Ansah.

Star did have to go to a jr. college first but BYU totally miss on Star. Star wanted to go to BYU and BYU did not go after him and Utah did. BYU's mistake and I hope Star does great in the NFL.

Rugby is not an NCAA sport.

BYU basketball didn't play in any championship. They lost to Baylor in the semifinal round of the NIT.

BYU volleyball did have a great season, and they were the only BYU team to play for an NCAA title.

Rugby is not an NCAA sport. - who cares, the Cougars still won a national championship, and in the process, beat the most dominant rugby team in the country for the past 30 years.

BYU basketball didn't play in any championship. They lost to Baylor in the semifinal round of the NIT. - BYU advanced further in the 32-team NIT tournament of 2013 than the Utes did in the 8-team NIT tournament of 1944. BYU won 24 games versus college teams in 2013. Utah only won 6 games versus college teams in 1944. When was the last time Utah won 3 games in any post season basketball tournament?

BYU volleyball did have a great season, and they were the only BYU team to play for an NCAA title. - how many Utah teams even reached the semi-finals of an NCAA tournament?
