@obama10Again it iis looked at as a hate crime when there is evidance to
support it not simply because the particular religion or race of the person and
again the investigation should be looking be looking for evidance into if it
maybe a hate crime. What they should not do is run out ahead of the facts which
is what you want.

vandalized, it is looked at as a hate crime, except when it is a Mormon church
@obama10 Well is there anything left behind that suggest it was a hate
crime? I think the possibility that it is a hate crime should certainly be
investigated but why run out in front of the known facts? maybe for reasons of
politics not actual concern?
Why is this not being reported as a hate crime? If this was a predominantly
"black" church we would have the usual stories about "racism in
Utah" and Jessie Jackson would be preparing another self-aggrandizing
photo-op. But since it is a Mormon church, no big deal. "Move along
people, nothing to see here".
