Finding the shooting justified should not surprise anyone.

If he shot at police officers then return fire was justified. I'm just uncomfortable with the amount of bullets fired. In truth I'd rather a fugitive/criminal dead than a police officer.

43 rounds fired by TRAINED and experienced police officers.

Can you imagine the mayhem and slaughter of bystanders the day that one of the NRA's armed "good guys" tries to become a hero and sends bullets flying in every possible direction?

I think it is obvious the shooting was justified, but like other commentators, whey did it take 43 rounds? How many of those hit their mark? I know shooting a handgun is inaccurate the greater the distance, but I don't think the police were that far? I had the same thought as I watched and heard the firefight with the police and the Boston Bombers.
