I don't know how Ziggy is handle life in the NFL...

But I'm worried the DN might start shorting us on the Jimmer coverage now that it's covering Ziggy's every step.

Oh Howie...

The only thing you're worried about is that once again, BYU is in the National limelight and has stolen the show.

You can run from BYU's shadow, but you cannot hide.

@Bluto

Steal the show... but can't beat the Utes...

Seems the Cougars can't get it done against the Utes where it counts... on the field.

Bluto is right, the hole world is focused on byu because of this.

The whole world should be focused on BYU..... Especially the Utah press. UCUtah is no longer a factor.
All smack aside I am very proud of the fact that Star was drafted and went to a team that will genuinely use him. He will be great. Ziggy also went to a team that has a position and great potential for him. These twonyoung men will represent thenLDS church and their fomer institutions well. UCUtahfans should be proud.

When something bothers one it is sometimes referred to as being a 'thorn in the side'.

For Howard and Ernest it must be painful to have one in each side. The Jimmer thorn and the Ziggy thorn. Ouch! Will somebody please help these two sufferers?

Reading these stories is more fun than any football game. Buh bye, Utes.

Brilliantly said.

Get over it already- the BYU/Utah rivalry is dead and gone. Utah will always be a mediocre PAC12 team, BYU will not.

"PAC12 team, BYU will not"

Jimmer and Ziggy. What a combo!

Ernest K. Bass rocks! And, so does Howard. Let's not be mad to each other. It's OK to have favorites.

Don't know if his mom has younger children, but could she come and live with Ziggy in Detroit - at least for a while as he starts his career in unfamiliar surroundings? Just a thought.

This tread is exactly why I hate comments. Everybody gets into a argument about Utah/BYU and ignores the point of the story. All you commentors seem to want to do is throw barbs.

For Mr. I think Ziggy is going to do great. He seems to want to continue his service to others. Example: He went to a hospital (I think) to visit children. If he did that, expressed his humor, which I loved and his mother says he has his head on straight, I don't think there's any doubt he'll do great. The negative pressures on professional sports start and people trying to take his money will be the hardest thing for him to deal with. I'm confident he'll get great advice and he will be careful to take it.

Something like the last four or five draft choices in recent years by the Lions ended up being arrested. What does that say about those players. What does it reveal about the quality of Ziggy's character? He'll do great.

After reading this article I thought it was about Ziggy Ansah. The off topic comments by ute trolls are indicative of their deeper insecurities.

4601 you will have to get used to that. The ute trolls just hate to see anything BYU. You will notice how they hate, but just love to read the BYU articles. I really don't think they are ute Fans at all, they and a couple of others sit around and wait for any article about BYU and then try to be the first to comment.

Ziggy will do just fine in the NFL, both playing and handling the pressure. He will find the right kind of friends and hopefully a wife that will keep him on the right path. That is what I love about BYU sports. We hear about their wonderful lives around their sport (jobs), while some other schools just care about if their player are drafted, and then they only care about how many years they play. They could not care less about the individual and how they are doing and progressing as human beings. Too bad, fall out of the lime light and their fans forget about them.

"haunyocker"- Please don't paint ALL who comment with the same brush. Thank you.
