You go guy. Thanks for pointing out the good you see in the world--there is much more good than bad, but you would never know that from the media. You make me want to be a better person; abd I'll take your challenge, so you will inadvertently touch my wife also (she doesn't read the paper). Almost every time I read one of your columns I think it is your best work ever. May it ever be so. Thanks much.

Sometimes I forget my own potential - this was a wonderful reminder of how wonderful we can all chose to be! I will be writing my husband a similar birthday letter. He's all that - and more (61). What a positive use of the media today! Thank you!

I did this once for a friend who was turning 41. She wasn't a mushy type and it caught her off-guard. She read my 41 compliments about her, in her car before going into her house, and she cried. Her heart was touched and I loved that.

Oh, I liked this article..made me think where I could do better and what a wonderful idea for your spouse. She is very fortunate to be married to a man that has that high of regard for her as a person, wife and woman. My hats off to him.
