What a great opportunity to have been a part of this process for most of that time with the many other volunteers that have provided a great opportunity and service to others all around the world to find out about their family for a variety of reasons, family history, genealogy, medical reasons, and just the satisfaction of knowing where and who else was involved in your family.

The 1940 census was an enjoyable process going through the variety of records from the various states and in some cases seeing your own relatives while indexing or arbitrating the record processes.

Family Search has provided a great opportunity even for the younger family members to be involved in searching out the long line, literally long, of our ancestors that gave us the opportunity to live in this land and in other lands to make it possible for us to have a good life. The stories and tidbits of information that you can gather once you know the names makes you know that they lived and had problems and blessings just as we do. These people provided us with life and DNA for a better life and we thank them for it.
