Rock on Utah.

I love our BCS membership!

And those folks down south don't think we can compete in the PAC 12. Ha!

Hey if you can't be #1, or for that matter even #9, on the field or court then why not make yourself #1 at something ridiculous.

@Duckhunter

Something ridiculous...like ballroom dancing, for instance?

"According to the EPA, the U.’s green power use was equivalent to avoiding the carbon dioxide emissions from the electricity use of nearly 10,000 American homes annually, or the CO2 emissions of nearly 14,000 vehicles per year."

This is pretty cool. Kudos to the student groups that made this happen!

I have to agree with Chris B. The Pac-12 is indeed a great place to be!

Alright!!! way to go Utah :) PAC-12 Champions in something this year. Wasn't a great year for football and basketball is still improving so right now I'll take what I can get. :)

It was very cool to see how much green power the UofU is using. Nice to see that they are conscious of the enviornment and are trying to do their part.

Go Utes!!!

Sweet green! Now that is what the PAC is about. Go green after the red Utes. Feel welcome to go green as well BYU, that is after you cross the blue zone. Any other colors we can insert? How about a panic orange alert from homeland security?

@Duckhunter

Ridiculous? What? I don't know. Let me read the article first. I saw green and was hugging a tree. That said, green is good for me.

Well over paying for something that is a scam is hardly something to brag about being #1 in.

Wow... if this is really what the Utes consider being competitive in the PAC-12 is, they can have it... big conference and all. Too bad there isn't a post-season for this prestigious award. But then again, the Utes have pretty much forgotten what post-season play is anyway. It's certainly been awhile. But hey... there's always next year. But who cares anyway, as long as you can brag about being in such a big conference.

If you really think Utah is green now, just wait to see how green (with envy) they are after September 21st. It's a game I can hardly wait for.

To Brave Sir Robin:

At least world-class dancing requires some skill. Being green just takes money.
But at least we've finally been able to discover the real reason the Utes joined the PAC-12. It apparently wasn't to be competitive in any major sports.
When all is said and done, it kinda makes a person really proud to be a Ute in this day and age.

They didn't report how much that Green Power cost or was subsidized by the taxpayers of america, or what it would have cost to use the same source the rest of the people do -- Keep in mind all the green energy we use is subsidized by the taxpayers because they can't compete on their own.That's like giving the football team 14 points before the the game starts because they know they have no chance to compete with out that subsidy.---- keep your eyes open folks.
