Funny how Conservative-Republicans always say "lower taxes brings increased
growth". Well, now we see that the same principal works for UTA. For a
group of people and a state who generally believe this same principal, this
shouldn't be rocket science. I know that there have been times I want to
ride Frontrunner, but it is cheaper for my family to pile into the Suburban.
Even with a "gas-guzzling" 15 mpg, it is still cheaper to drive from
Syracuse to SLC. Stop paying the high salaries of UTA executives (some of which
are higher than cities much larger than SLC) and put the money back into the
system and you will get more riders.
I wonder if the riders will drop again now that ski season is over in PC?
