Running accelerated my arthritic knee problems, and I got none of the success it brought to Forrest, Forrest Gump, yet it helped me understand how utterly devastating the violence runners encountered at the end of the Boston Marathon must have felt to those participating Monday. Resilience and solidarity shown is much appreciated. So sad for those killed and injured, and pray for their families, that they may be comforted...and resilient.

Great job, Amy. As one person noted, if someone is trying to stop Americans, marathon runners is a bad group of people to try to deter. God bless Boston and Salt Lake next week.
