@naval No one cares what utah did, remember? Ancient history. Right
now they are a losing team from a losing program that can't even make it to
a "3rd tier" bowl. Just what they are.
Duckhunter:Utah HAD tried "going to a bowl game". In fact,
we've been more successful in them than your WAC-ish and mid-majorey
program. We have a .750 winning percentage...highest in the NCAA for programs
having played in more than 10 bowls.Isn't your record one of
Maybe "going forward" utah should focus on...oh....I don't
know....maybe beating a pac12 team with a winning record? Or maybe having a
winning record of their own? Or maybe, just maybe, going to a bowl game?
"Going forward" they should try to do one of those things.
SnackThat was funny and too easy.

dumprake:"...nobody does anything 'going
backward'...,"Y fans do. They always jump into their
"wayback machine" and pedal all the way back to the 1980s. During one
offseason, they even laid on their backs on the field at LES and dreamed of
cougar years of yore. A couple of days ago, Y fans were bragging about having
already played in the Fiesta Bowl. That was back in the early 1970s,
back when the Fiesta Bowl was about as prestigious as the Poinsettia Bowl today.
I understand there has been some struggles in the kicking game with consistency
during the spring.. From what I have heard is Jon Halliday, a sophomore transfer
from Palomar College, a top Junior College in CA will join the team in the
summer and should be our starting kicker for the 2013 season is from what i have
heard from insiders. He was the top JC kicker this past season and from what i
have heard, kicks with nice consistency, something we have been lacking for
quiet some time now. I look forward to to seeing him out there on the field for
the 2013 season and hopefully he can win some games for us this coming year.
worf, it will be interesting to see BYU's season since they decided to go
away from that very tactic this year for the first time in a long time.
Utes need to find teams which are compatible to their talents.
"face the utes going forward" is redundant. Why do writers continue to
use this inane and redundant phrase "going forward"; nobody does
anything "going backward", no football team has "issues"
"going backward". This phrase should be removed from the english
