Happy Birthday, Sister Jacobsen! You have made the world a better place!

Florence's Ted served as Mission President of the Eastern States Mission in the mid to late 1950's. Florence's brother, Gerald Smith, succeeded Ted as Mission President. Gerald was one of my Mission Presidents from Oct. 1960 to April 1962. The Jacobsons and the Smiths had joint mission reunions for many years. They are all faithful in their callings. I have followed their careers over the years.

Happy Birthday!

Sounds like we all owe her a lot...can you imagine the look of downtown SLC without those restored structures?

Maybe we'll see Sister Jacobson at Governor Herbert's luncheon for the over 100 crowd. Our grandmother, Veda Eklund Sorensen, is now 101. You just can't keep these healthy Latter-day Saints down!
