What an amazing legacy.

I had the opportunity to sit with Brother Smith many times and always enjoyed his stories and testimony. He will definately be missed.

If you never attended a fireside with Eldred Smith where he had the bloodstained clothes and eye spectacles of Hiram Smith as well as the handcrafted box used to house the golden plates for a time...then you missed one of the greatest spiritual manifestations that I personally have had in my lifetime.

Salt Lake City, UT

What a legacy! I personally happen to know that Brother Smith was driving his car up to age 100. He also continued to attend the temple weekly up to the end. I'm not sure I want to live as long as he did, but I certainly would like to live as well.

Now that you're beyond the veil, I imagine that there is a lot of work to do, so I won't say 'rest in peace'!
