Amazing Grace, To me is the best, but is not sang in LDS churches. My wife wanted that song to be sang at a baptize m and was unable to. Oh well.

Okay, this is my rant for the day.

LDS Living, please do not call this list "The 100 Greatest Songs." Call it the "100 Most Popular Songs of Survey Responders of LDS Living" or "100 most Awesome Songs of Young Audience People Who Took the Time to Respond" but to have this be called the Greatest LDS Songs of all time is a serious mistake in caption writing. Did anyone notice that "I Am a Child of God" is not to be found on that list. A whole ton of amazing, awe-inspiring hymns (just a cursory stroll through the hymn book will net many that would eclipse this top ten) are not on this list but McClean's (whose songs I love) "You're Not Alone" as #4 was a dead giveaway that the average age of "judges" of this list was probably under 21. Love ya, LDS Living but try again. But maybe I'm all wrong and "hymns" are not to be included in a greatest "songs" contest.
