    @2fer

    "Utah is a Powerade school."

Of course they are, powerade is the #2 sports drink.

"And who's counting the Gatorade cups"

Nobody. Utah is a Powerade school.

"I do find the offensive coordinatior smack talk coming from coug fans quite amusing. You seemed to forget that the guy who you continue to trash managed to beat your team last year. Top that off with the fact that you are now so excited about the guy that you all ran out of town just a few years ago."

I tip my hat to you, good sir. You hit the nail on the head. Anae in 2010 was bad, but Anae in 2013 will save the offense? This reasoning puzzles me.

Girlse, girlse, girlse, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Your 25 yr old 'wonder' OC from last year, a one year fiasco of an experiment, is this year's bus speed bump. So funny to see ya'll in denial over this but it was fun yanking your chain.

Good luck with your new OC, BYU is very happy to move on as well.

And who's counting the Gatorade cups? LOL

    sammy,

For your future reference, the following is from a March 1, 2013 D-News article

"Nick Howell will serve as defensive coordinator.... Mendenhall will continue to call defensive plays and assist Howell in coordinating the defense."

Sure sounds like co-defensive coordinators to me.

"Offensive coordinator Robert Anae will be the assistant head coach"

Sammy, Is that the same Robert Anae that BYU ran out of town 2 years ago?

@ sammy "Interesting... absent from this report were comments from the other offensive co-cordinators.... Where's Brian and the oc for gatorade cups, etc.?"

Did you really just say that... in the year where Bronco announces that he will be sharing some the D coordinator responsibilities at BYU? I guess you didn't realize that your house was made out of glass, but go ahead keep tossing them stones.

I can't wait to see how this team can do this year. It's great to hear about the O-line playing better so far. That was probably the biggest problem with last years offense. It's also nice to know that the Utes aren't wasting reps on a injured QB this spring unlike they did the previous two years.

I do find the offensive coordinatior smack talk coming from coug fans quite amusing. You seemed to forget that the guy who you continue to trash managed to beat your team last year. Top that off with the fact that you are now so excited about the guy that you all ran out of town just a few years ago.

AS for the Utes, I'm excited to see the direction of the team this year and I can't wait for the spring game and the season to begin.

    Go Utes!

After watching BYU's blue and white game and one of Utah's practices I think that both teams are ahead of where they were last year. Erickson has definitely made a difference; as has Anae. Some people should not talk about things they know nothing about.

Utah should do much better this year in the PAC-12. I hope you guys win all of your games (especially USC) save for one.

Party on, brothers on the hill.

Agreed; the deflection from byu fans is comical.

What's funny is BYU rehiring Robert Anae after the fans and coaches ran him out of town in 2010.

    Motorbike

Since Brian is 'lost' maybe he could use a P.R. release by the U. sports media bunch like that player got the other day???

Sounds like sammyg's already getting worried about another loss to Utah this year.
Come on Samantha, no need to panic yet... I personally think your Cougs have a decent shot this year.

Good to hear. It sounds like the team is picking up the new offensive style pretty well. We'll see how they look when all of those defensive players get out of the pit though. It's also really cool that the red/white game is going to be on the PAC-12 network.

Nice dodge StG and obviously you missed the parts where the 8+ year guy already talked and was "happy, happy, happy." You explained nothing.

Where's Brian and the oc for gatorade cups, etc.?

It appears that Brian won't be talking much.

    Co-coordinators? Funny.

sammyg, it is interesting, I'll explain it to you. After practice, one of the coaching staff reads off a list of players and staff that the media has requested to speak with. Erickson is the new guy in the program and a very storied name; people are more eager to hear what he has to say every day than the guy that's been in the program for the last 8+ years now

Interesting... absent from this report were comments from the other offensive co-cordinators.
