Maybe consider rewriting this sentence: "Then in 2010, Danny was a key player in the largest police corruption in the FBI's 102-year history."

I loved reading about Danny and the good he does and the good man he is. It would be a privilege to meet him and talk to him in perons. What an example he is.

As my brother has survived 2 kidney transplants to run marathons & triathlons at Transplant Olympic Games, I know BOTH these brothers will bless us all with long, productive lives :-)

To the snarky and sarcastic posters, you may want to withhold comment until you read the follow-up articles. I know the rest of the story, and it is one that should humble us all and make us want to be better people.

What a wonderful story! I would love to see more stories like this in the paper.

@ Gnarmac, you might want a re-read: "Danny was a key player in the largest police corruption sting in the FBI's 102-year history. " You forgot the word "sting" in your quote. Makes a big difference in the meaning.

It's hard to hold back tears even as I write this message. Danny is my cousin through my wife's family and while I had only few interactions with him (due to distance) I can tell you that his life has made a profound impact on our lives. His smile and "go with the flow" attitude made him a great guy but his deep sprituality and love made him my hero. One story I feel appropiate to share is when my son was baptized. It was the same week of his funeral and words can't express the powerfull feelings we had on that special day, we knew he was with us.
It's easy to see Danny is his other family, which is a slight comfort to his immense loss. Danny we miss and love you.
Thank you for sharing Danny's story.
