Chris Hill can pick 'em - can't he?
Why would he? He's still collecting a check from them half a decade later
and will for a couple of more years all while also collecting one from Gonzaga.
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.LOL!
Here is my issue with Giaccoletti: He once had a commercial airing in which he
said: "We are the University of Utah, which means we are the basketball team
for the state of Utah"--as if there were no such team called the Utah Jazz.
He got paid well and didn't produce. In free enterprise that means you get
"Six years after being fired by the Utes, he [Giacoletti] is back in Salt
Lake, now as an assistant for Gonzaga, the top-ranked team in the
country."Sometimes, one of the most fortunate things that can
happen to you is to get fired from a dead end job.
In his 3rd year everyone had quit, coaches and players. I've seen players
quit before but I've never seen coaches quit they way they did that season.
