France, anyone?
The government should be very cautious about interfering or dictating what the relationship between an employer and the employee should be.
I completely support this effort. FMLA is not enough for many. I was in this very situation at my job and almost got fired for being sick due to disability. Our country is obsessed with placating the employer all at the wailing cry of not interferIng with a company. Our country is out of balance in this way. If France is doing it right then i saw lets be more like them.
