4 vehicles is a start and some are better than none. Hard to understand why natural gas is not used more. A semi using 20,000 gallons a year, 6 miles per gallon would save up to $30,000 a year and the engine last twice as long. All our new government vehicles should be CNG. Any local station that would be reasonable in price could convert many of the newer government vehicles. However $50,000 for a conversion seems high.
