I remember when our LDS chapel in Washington state burned down in the early
1950s that two Churches, the Seventh-day Adventists and another local Church let
us use their chapels for our services, one in the morning and the other in the
evening for months while our chapel was being rebuilt. That was so beneficial
for our members and the friendship endured after that disaster. That
is what the Spirit of Christ is all about, serving others, especially in a time
of need and crises such as this.
Wasn't the first Catholic mass conducted in the Salt Lake valley held in
the tabernacle at the invitation of Brigham Young?
