This from the college that, according to the news last month, is going to be losing hundreds of students to LDS missions. It must not be so bad after all.
Why are the buildings at UVU publicly funded while the buildings at the University of Utah, the State's flag ship school, mostly funded through private donations? Again, it goes to what I have said many times, the U of U is operated as a public university but the it is funded as though it were a private university. And the economic benefit to the State of Utah in terms of jobs, research, and economic development have got to be ten times more from the U of U than from UVU. Enjoy your new $54 million building paid for by the tax payers.
