With due respect to the headline writer and Mr Edwards, RSL lost 2 points and for all practical purposes the match this afternoon. In almost all cases, a road tie is "stealing a point" and a home tie is "losing two points".
The unbelivable save mentioned above and the just as remarkable rebound clearance actually saved the bacon and the tie for RSL. Otherwise we would all be writing about the miserable loss RSL suffered at home.
Just like in basketball, the home court advantage is big and you should not be losing or even tying matches at home.
I am not sure that RSL has fixed there offensive problems that were exposed at the end of last year. They appear to still be there.
So all in all, I would have written about a very disappointing match for our home town heros.
