At this point it doesn't really matter all that much to me. The Y seems to be trending in a downward spiral for the season and need to get this year in the rear-view.
BYU still has the potential to make some noise in post-season. They showed they are competitive against Gonzaga and they can dominate a host of teams that are not in the field of 68 for the NCAA tournament. I expect them to have a good finish to the season.
I'd like to see them play more games, with Ambrosino and Sharp and Austin playing on front line more.
Obv byu should have made it to the NCAA. They would make a deep run.
byu trended-down toward the end of the season, big-time....USD x 2, USF x 99 at home, barely escaping LMU, etc....Their best win this season, RPI-wise, was against Montana....GU just simply played way down to their opponent and was the exception toward the end of the season, not the rule....GU's 1st victory over byu was significantly more reflective of reality, instead.
byu, literally, beat nobody of note during the 2nd-half of the season and, literally, beat nobody all season long which finished ranked in the RPI Top-50, nobody....And rose has been there how long now?
Call it a day and spare yourselves the inevitable brutal curb-stomping, thus resulting in utter and complete embarrassment.
