Nice job to Coach Krysko and the utes for finishing the season strong. this
gives them some momentum going into next season. Well done.
That was a tough loss but still a great run in the conference tournament. This team finished strong and never gave up in any game they played in
this year. By the end of the season they had more confidence and saw
improvement in a number of freshmen that will help the Utes keep improving.I find it funny that coog fans comment on the Utes loss when their own
team got bounced out of their conference tournament in the first round. Good
Crissy has been kinda quiet. I marked down the Ute 14 point
victory...............and still waiting. I love Crissys predictions, they are
Well, did anyone really expect any different in this game? We caught them
napping last game and they focused on us this game instead of looking past us.
We were just gum on the bottom of their shoe. Oh well, everything back to
Tough loss for the Utes. They just didn't have it last night. Kudos To
the Y fans who can be classy, boo on the usual suspects (Sammyg and too smart)
Nothing left in the tank last night. The energy from the Cal game carried them
five minutes into the game, and something in them sparked a comeback to cut it
to 8 in the second, but there was not enough left to match the energy Oregon
came with. Congrats to Oregon, a very good team, they should make a great finals
showing and some strong NCAA tournament play.
Going to ignore all the haters here this morning and simply give a big congrats
to the Utes for going farther than anyone could have imagined. For
this team to make the final four of the Pac 12 tournament, with the likes of
Arizona, UCLA and Oregon (ALL of which have been ranked in the Top 25 at some
time during the season) is a major accomplishment. Also, first #10 seed to make
the semi's of the Pac 12 tourney. As Washburn said after the
Oregon win last Saturday, "We're going to go to Vegas and make some
noise." Which they did.Something to build on for next season.
Great job, guys!
@ Go RedCongratulations to the Utes. Finally they played some
basketball this season. Since you like to throw darts, here's a
question for you: "Did the mighty Utes get a winning season, you know, reach
.500?" No! But USU did and so did BYU. So the Utes are not one of the
best two teams in the stste once again. They happened to be "too little,
too late." (True moral victory, no less and no doubt.) But we're
getting used to that. Enjoy once again the PAC 12 Basement (P12B).
So where is ChrisB when the Utes lose? She talks so much smack but doesn't
show her face when it bites her back. Congrats to the Utes for showing strong in
the tourney. But a few wins at the end doesnt mean you are the greatest thing
since sliced bread. Honestly, the Utes won because USC and Cal thought they
would be a cake walk and didnt bring their A game. there is no proof otherwise.
Lets see what happens next year. Good luck to all the teams in Utah. Now its
time for spring camp and all the smack talk between now and fall camp! Go Cougs!
Congratulations for a nice run for a team with no in-state wins.
We got jimmered by Oregon. Now the haters will jimmer us on the comment boards
for a while. Thanks to the team and coach K for not giving up throughout
the season. Go Utes.
@sammy"Another... moral victory!"Yes, which is 2
more than your team in Provo got.
Good run at the end and looks like things are going to be much better in the
future.Cograts to the UTES!
Nice job Utah in the tourney. Way to represent the State. Are any of you from
This little piggy had 2 conference tournament wins --> UtahThis little
piggy had none --> BYU
Tough loss for the Utes, but at least they showed some fight in the second
half.Gotta love Bill Walton's fabulously stupendous over hype
of the PAC 12, UCLA, and everything he talked about, unfortunately it was as off
last night as Washburn's and DuBois's shooting.-didn't know that #2 Duke had lost to Maryland-didn't know
that #5 Georgetown had lost to Syracuse-didn't know that
Kentucky's bubble may have been popped by Vanderbilt-didn't know
that UCLA's starting PG had broken his foot on the last play of the Arizona
gameand most cluelessly,-thought that Utah was shooting
its first free throws of the game when the Utes had just shot free throws on the
previous possessionCalling the Arizona/UCLA game the game of the
millennium seemed a little over the top even for Walton.Anyway,
congrats to the Utes on a nice little run to end the season.
Nice little run at the end of the season; with the season the basketball team
had, it was nice to see them go out swinging.
The other day I said, "I'm smelling Final Four. LOL Exciting finish. Congrats to the Utes."Little did I know that
it would be the Final Four of your tournament and there you have it.Another... moral victory!
Tough...but thanks for the nice post-season ride! Hopefully they will build on
this next year and improve further.
The Ute team we have come to know through the year finally showed up.
Ouch. The slipper broke. The bookies will still pay out based on
Chris B's "mark it down" prediction, right? The actual score
doesn't matter, just his prediction, correct?Nice run Utes.
Coach Krystko has turned the ship.
Great finish to the season guys! After all the two in a row talk, the Utes won
four straight PAC 12 games down the stretch. Tonight's loss was a blow but
it was obvious the Utes were out of gas. I look forward to next
year. Thank you seniors for your sacrifices for this team. It's a building
process, but Coach K Jr. has injected positive energy into the program. That is
well received here because the Utes have been in a dark hole for awhile.
It's great to have a coach willing and capable of doing the dirty work.
So proud of you utes. You increased your record to .450 and your RPI to 155. As
your brother, consider this post a pat on your head
Loved the game!
