@Uncle Rico,That's fairly ridiculous to compare average joes with a
public figure. Players, coaches, even referees are critiqued by the people that
pay their salaries, and that's you and me. We have the right as fans to
make comments about coaches and players and if they find that's too hard on
their ego's, they're in the wrong business. Right now I really
don't feel like giving Corbin any more breaks. Sorry.
Lots of morning after coaches on this thread. Perhaps we should all agree to let
our co-workers critique our performances at work and post about it. Ya, Corbin
makes great money, but so do a lot of people. Put energy into things you care
about, family, job, church whatever. Give Corbin a break.
I agree with other comments...why is Williams playing if his thumb is not
healed? Let him back up Burks...oh yeah, I forgot...that's next year.
Very good observation RV. I totally agree. The way that Corbin coddles his
veteran players is one of his bigger weaknesses.
Mo Williams missed 2 1/2 months of playing time. Corbin should not have shoved
him back on the starting lineup as if he had only been out 3 or 4 games.I know Mo wanted to regain his starting position, as soon as possible,
but Corbin should have told him the following:"Look, the
starting position is yours, but I have to ease you back into playing with the
other guys. You won't start for a few games, but you will see a gradual
increase in your playing time. And when I think you're ready, you'll
go back in as the starter. As a team leader and a veteran, I really need you to
work with me on this. It's for the good of the team and for your good as
well."Unfortunately, Corbin didn't say or do that and the
result has been disruptive to the team.
