Don't agree with you Randy. When Stockton started going downhill he hung up his sneakers. Watson should hove done this at the end of last season. He has no offense or defense and his pride is all he has. If Burks could have had his minutes Jazz would be fighting for a fourth seed instead of ninth..
not so sure about 4th but for sure a better spot. Burks is in a tough situation now with Mo back. He is now looking over his shoulder whenever he makes a mistake hoping he does not get yanked. This has to hurt his confidence. I would like to see Tyrone not concern himself with the playoffs and play his young guys guaranteed to be here next season. Build their confidence over the next 20 games instead of knowing with 5 games left your not getting the 8th spot and start then. The Jazz are more exciting with the young guys in there and it seems more competitive. was it not nice to see Jeremy get 24 min the other night? He may not see 24 min the rest of the games combined.
JazzyJim, I completely agree! We need to see at least 30 min per for Kanter, Favor Flave, and Burks. Hayward will get his, and mix in 15-20 per for the pogo stick. Start building some 2014 team chemistry, pick up a solid PG in the draft, my choice would be Trey Burk, and we start over.
rebuild around the bench...and hire a new coach when managements heads are on right. Maybe they need a consultgant, read these posts folks. We also need a super star or two and maybe we have one or two on the bench for next season. Start the bebuild now, mostly around the bench for next season. Quite obvious we have lost the playoffs.
So Earl has some grit and pride. Nothing against Earl, he can't shoot, and is not a huge asset of defense. Not sure why he ever sees the floor....
Earl has one decent game and he gets an article about how hard he works and what a professional he is? Earl Watson has been HORRIBLE this year! He has the worst turnover average in the entire NBA, 1/3 of his possessions ends in a turnover and his shooting is ranked dead last among rotation players in the NBA! He is shooting 31% from the field, 18% from 3 and 68% at the free throw line. Earl is a nice buy but a horrible player!
That's a stretch Little Andy.
Earl Watson is a leader and a mans pro.
