David Patey is awesome!

I met him about 7 years ago when he came up from Costa Rica. He is a great guy and it is no wonder they are loving him down there.

I love that he is making it a priority to not play on Sunday! The whole world needs to take notice. Too many of our kids are caving into the sports pressure. Good job David.

I also love how he is walking around greeting the fans with the other owner before the game. What a great example.

Maybe College football can learn from this. Rather than encouraging "combative" play we can focus on great competition and fun.

We have way too much hate going on in sports and it is infiltrating our kids at younger ages every year.

Sports are awesome if handled well, but oh man, way too many people are showing up with anger cheering on the bad behavior.
