Automobiles and car emissions are not the problem, the only reason you can die from car exhaust is it displaces the oxygenated air you need to breath.

This will have no effect on air quality which if examined would reveal the true smog creating enemy, development and unrestricted environment pollution operations this state is endangering our health and lives.

CNG will never be an acceptable alternative in vehicles, not when cars are designed to turn into crumpled tin foil which will make any collision non survivable when the CNG tanks explode killing dozens more in the vicinity. Any gains from weight reduction will be lost with tank armor being required to shield CNG tanks in collisions. Then they will cost over a thousand dollars to replace when involved in accidents, even fender benders.

Private vehicles are not a safe place to put CNG tanks. Commercial vehicles are also questionnaire since tanks can be knock loose and turn into gas bombs.

Put some effort into the real polluters, commercial and business use vehicles, salt, and mud distribution along the road ways. Commercial use equipment and vehicles with no emission testing or standards enforced in Utah.
