    On the other side of the coin, should we be spending public funds to finance private getaways for a few. All under the guise of conservation. .

    The legislature has plenty of cash to give to Don Peay with no strings attached (300K soon to be 600K) They also are ready to flush millions away on "message" bills. They have the money, they just hate the idea.

    Interesting that there are seemingly unlimited funds available to move the prison, so that developers and their friends in the legislature can make more millions at public expense, but there isn't so much as $200K for this far more worthy cause.
