Full me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Bell didn't deal with the Jazz honorably when he left as a free agent: "I want to be in Utah and will give the Jazz first shot," and then signed with Phoenix at Midnight and 5 seconds. It was foolish of them to count on him to be a "leader."

I'm just glad they waited until he couldn't play in the playoffs. Not that I think he'd be much of a contributor, I'm just glad they didn't reward his insolence any more than they had to.

I've never been a Raja fan, but I wish him well in the future. We need a guard who can shoot consistently decent, can defend, can pass, can drive, and can be a leader. Raja was none of those things and I couldn't see what the Jazz and Phoenix liked about him. I suppose there were none our there with that skill set, so Raja was hired. Good luck RB. I mean that sincerely.

This whole thing has led me to believe that Raja is completely full of himself. He could of been bought out and played this year, but instead chose to "cut off his nose to spite his face." I love that the Jazz got to fire the final shot in this ridiculous saga by waiting to waive him until after the March 1 deadline so he isn't eligible for the playoffs. He decided to be childish and cost us money and now he loses a year of basketball at a point in his career where he can ill afford to sit out. Well played genius!

Sorry Raja but you're getting paid a king's ransom to play a boy's game. If you're expecting anyone to feel sorry for you, you're going to have along wait.

I don't know what Coach Corbin did that he thought was unprofessional, but criticizing the coach in front of the whole team in the locker room is definitely unprofessional.

i kinda like the potential of Travis Leslie....but...that would be spoiled by the ineffectiveness of Tyrone Corbin...

What a waste of money. He'll be lucky to ever play again. He's old and probably out of shape.

Bell may have got the last laugh -- 3.48 million for doing nothing -- Our world is in a backward mode.

I am happy for Raja. He was a great player with some unlucky injuries. Corbin is obviously not getting the job done. Time to bring back Sloan. The Jazz organization does not pay to win. They pay to lose. Not enough cars being sold it looks like. Perhaps it's what the NBA has ordered in this rigged sport. Interestingly Stephen A. Smith of ESPN has already written the Jazz off and inserted the Lakers as their playoff replacement. Now that basketball is basically over it's time to spend all my time watching the only real sport...Ice Hockey!

KOC brought in a replacement to do what he used to, funny how that matches up with what Bell did this season too. Nothing.

The Jazz held Bell back so he could not sign, that was a $3mill lesson that only the Jazz learned. I think that was KOC in action again as he was the GM who brought that treasure to Utah.

Instead of bulking up the guard situation when the Jazz were without the efforts of Mo or others, when the Jazz were losing when they had a second year shooting guard playing point, the Jazz had the option then to shore up the team with help and get a few more wins. Had they done that they could have still been ahead of the Lakers.

Instead the new GM did nothing, the team struggled and now Stephen A Smith writes off the Jazz? Seems he could have safely done that when KOC hired his clone replacement, ignored the needs of the team and went for personal vendetta on Raja.

Man, if complaining and whining makes me $4 million dollars and let's me sit at home and golf every day, maybe this "Karma" thing is all messed up afterall.

I think Raja was ahead of the curve. He figured out very early that Ty didn't have what it takes to be a head coach in the NBA.

That said, he would have been smarter to just shut up about it and let the Jazz brass figure out that Ty can't coach. I hope they are closer to figuring it out. Maybe the best thing for the Jazz in the long run would for the Jazz to fail miserably down the stretch, giving the Jazz a reason to fire Ty and pick up a better draft pick in the process.

@Doug10

you cant blame the GM on this...i dont think there are any takers for Raja...you cant force teams to getting him...although i know for the fact that D'Antoni wants him...but that doesn't mean...Kupchak wants him...if he did...a 2nd rounder would've fit...also...how can you address the needs...if there aren't good deals to be made?..if you are making the Bledsoe rumor an example...that would be off...first of all...if this was offered to us...we would be acquiring another contract from LAC to match the salaries...also...that contract may be a bad contract...and money wise it would be a bad deal for us...i am not on Lindsey's side on this...i only try to understand why he never made any deals..there are no deals worth pursuing...plus...Jeff Teague is a restricted free agent next year...we could offer him a contract and hope atlanta doesnt match...and Jose Calderon is a free agent...we can sign him for a 1 or 2 yr deal...till we get the PG of the future...

It is like Jazz fans default to their favorite catch phrases when things aren't going right.
1. Fire/Trade (fill in the blank). Let me tell you why this is ridiculous. We are not the Lakers. We don't just fire people, especially when we are having a winning season. Why? Because we are a small market team, and we don't have the money or the area attractions to bring in whoever we want.

2. KOC--How in the world are you blaming the former general manager for what is going on? It is like you are stuck in 2011 when that was all you knew how to say, and you simply aren't creative enough to think of something else.

3. Build through the draft--Yes, that worked for OKC who got 4 really high draft picks in 5 years. How is it working for the Pistons at the moment? The problem with building through the draft is that you have to be willing to be awful for several years before getting better. Are you willing to do that? Apparently not, because you are really upset about our winning season so far.

Stop whining. Support your team.

They could have amnestied Bell long ago. They could have traded him over a year ago when he started to shoot well. He was obviously not happy with the Jazz. Not sure what the Jazz were waiting for.

I agree that KOC should have swallowed his pride and released Bell long ago when the Jazz needed help at the point. KOC probably cost the Jazz a spot in the playoffs.

Although Bell shouldn't have complained in public, it was also unprofessional of Corbin to bench Bell during the playoffs, especially since Bell was the Jazz' best three point shooter last season. Bell sought out treatment in order to return to the team before the end of last season. How disappointing for Bell to come back for what? Nothing. Bell has a lot of fire and the Jazz should have expected that he would complain. Maybe that's what they wanted. It makes Bell look like the bad guy and the Jazz have been more than happy to play the victim.

I wish Bell that best. The Jazz may have tarnished their reputation and may have an even harder time signing free agents.

@Dustin

i'd still want corbin replaced...lol...a bag of cheetos is better at motivation than Corbin...i support my Jazz though...thick and thin...but still...a lot of potential in this team has gone to waste...and i am guessing Favors Hayward and Burks...won't be around for much longer...if they signed big al again...and have corbin as a coach again...but we will never know...a lot of teams are impressed by our core 4...and if a team with a lot of cap...happens to offer them a contract we can't match...then i guess...all those picks...were wasted...but then again...we will never know till the time comes...
