When Davies has more assists than the rest of the team combined, that is definitely not a good thing. He certainly played a good game, although some of the silly turnovers were committed by him as well.
Haws also had a good game. Although he made a pretty bad pass towards the end after Davies had stripped a ball.
The rest of the team? Just not good enough. Or at least they didn't play well enough to help Davies and Haws win this game.
I am sad for both the male and female basketball teams of BYU. There was such hope for both basketball organizations to do something in the West Coast Conference and in the post season tournaments. One cannot blame the officiating for all of the problems. We seem to have the talent but have a difficult time delivering the goods enough to get a win in the tournament. To me, this is very disturbing. I wish someone would give me a better explanation as to what is going on and why our teams do so poorly in this conference.
