"A change of team, it's the Lord's team that's how I think of it and that's how my brother taught me."
And to think, when he gets back, he gets to play on the Lord's team again!
There's other great athletes than just Lone Peak's who are going on missions as well, you should comment on all the good athletes going on missions to be on the Lord's team, not just Lone Peak. They get enough publicity! But it is great that they are.

After he gets back he's going to Notre Dame?
I'm so glad they play basketball to spread the gospel. What a blessing to the church

No, Alabama.
Congrats on learning how a hard work ethic translates into more than just a great sports year. It's a life-long gift to keep giving.
Well done, Lone-Peak!
Notre Dame? Alabama??
Come on people! We all know which institution of higher learning is the educational flagship of God's one and only true and living church and kingdom upon the earth.
Not that I believe He pays particular attention to basketball (or any sport for that matter), I am confident that He is pleased with the fine young men these Lone Peak athletes have developed into and pleased with the choices they are making to dedicate their lives to serving Him and in choosing to continue their education where they can best be prepared to continue to build His kingdom throughout the rest of their mortal lives.
Keep working hard men and making good choices.

Higher learning... hmmm. Okay, so he's going to Colorado at Boulder?
atl134, CougarFish has a point. Higher learning is very important. It's been all over that Emery and Haws will attend BYU. I applaud there decision. May they be happy and keep learning. And may they also continue with there decision to play basketball.
I totally forgot Mika with also attend BYU, and go on his mission. Congrats to him and may he prosper forever. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER all of you.
