Why wouldn't you want jobs to come to your area? The Lazy-Boy move hurt the economy and now someone wants to come in and provide jobs, and you say no. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Economic development people seem willing to do anything to bring jobs in, including accepting any kind of business...bars, Hollywood producers who make disgusting films, etc. Is a pig place really that offensive? Seems like a double standard to me.

Who is making up the loss of money for all those who have lost Jobs in the area? The Government? These people 'want jobs', but only on their terms. The processing plant should be glad they did not move into the area. The residents can live on welfare since they don't want to work.
