When 3 of your starters don't score a point, how can you win? And, this isn't the first time this has happened this season. Watson isn't a scorer, Foye seems to has lost his confidence, but Marvin Williams shut it down weeks ago. It reminds me of Lamar Odom's play in Dallas last season. I guess the only thing Williams is looking forward to is signing his player's option for next season.

This is getting old. Al we hear is well have to see about what to do. You are seing yourself out of the playoffs. Corbin needs to change what isnt working. There is a bench for the nondoers.
Be fair to yourself your players and the fans. Quit playing age and play the players that produce. I enjoy the jazz and wish them the best , This is why i quit buying season tickets 2 years ago. It looks like the time they get home from the road trip they will be out of the playoffs. LETS HOPE NOT

You can mark March 4th down as the day the Jazz lost any chance at keeping Favors in Utah.
2 years has proven that Corbin is not a great coach, and that he will never improve. Hiring tax-evaders doesn't exactly help his credibility either.

Fire Ty Corbin, before he runs this franchise out of Utah.

Normally I don't attack Corbin, but here is my issue with him last night:

- Up 3 at the half, he waits until the Jazz are down double digits and until about 4 1/2 mins left in third quarter to bring back the lineup that got them the lead and all the momentum.

- Why is Earl Watson even playing let alone starting?

- Enough with Marvin Williams already, put Carrol out there and even throw Jeremy Evans a bone at least he plays with some energy.

- The Jazz in typical Jazz fashion had the game won, but could not defend the 3 point line at the end of regulation or OT. Why do opponents have such a field day from down town? You know the Bucks need a 3 pointer, yet you give them space to shoot. Chase them off the darn 3 point line.

I put this loss more on Corbin than the players. Generally speaking I like Coach Corbin and think he has done a fine job, but last night was ridiculous. Quit playing 3 players that don't score or contribute! Foye normally does, just an off night. Watson and Williams OUT!

Normally I would chew on Corbin, but this one was lost at the foul line! Kanter played very good defense and leaving him out there was one of the reasons they caught up. The Jazz were killed by poor guard play! Normally it's Jefferson that shuts down the Jazz offense and leaves the pick and roll wide open on defense, but tonight it was poor defense on the perimeter, as well as missed foul shots. I thought Hayward hid from the ball also.

The box score says it all.

I have been sick of Watson going on 2 seasons now. Get rid of him.

I too fear Favors is going to leave when his contract is up. Apparently Corbin has a little
Sloan in him . . . keeping the young talent benched (ok, apart from Burks but we know he is gone too when he can get a better contract).

Pitiful starting guard play last night- totally outclassed on both ends. When they play this bad, we might as well give Murphy a chance to develop- he couldnt have done much worse.

Corbin should be fired today. If I ever see Watson and Williams start again I will leave the arena. Foye has hit a brick wall lately. I've said all year Burks should be starting and now you see why. Not playing Favors the last 20 minutes took the cake. Corbin can't even draw up a good play at the end to get off a decent shot. Wake up Greg and fire your no nothing GM. This team is a joke and a horrible disgrace to the fans.

Don't understand the move to keep favors on the bench during crunch time. Millsap is recovering from an ankle sprain. You go with the hot hand. It should have been Favors and Kanter down the stretch. To say the least, Corbin makes some mysterious personnel decisions. Williams should no longer be starting. Carroll should get the nod. It would appear that the big money players are being dictated by upper management. There are two tough games ahead at the Bulls and Bucks preceded by a toughening Cavalier squad. They may survive and make the playoffs. Just take a look at the rough road schedule that is the Lakers.

Watson is terrible. I have said this the last several games and so have many others. I do not see how Corbin can play him let alone start him. He can't score and turns the ball over constantly. That loses games. Give Burks the point guard start. He is bigger, he can score, and defend. Come on Corbin, you have many better options then Earl Watson.

Corbin is not an NBA caliber coach. The sooner he is gone the better. I hope they send Watson and Williams with him when he goes.

I hate to beat a dead horse to death .... but as I've been saying for over a year, Corbin is horrible. Did he really take Carroll out, and draw up a play for Foye at the end of the game after scoring zero points and coming in cold off the bench? Did he really not make virtually any substitutions in the fourth quarter and OT? Did he really play Milsap 44 minutes (and the final 17 minutes) in Milsap's first game back after spraining his ankle? No small wonder Paul missed the three by a wide mile and only made one of two at the line in the waning seconds of the game (no legs left). Could he really not have put Favors in to rest Kanter or Milsap in the fourth quarter?

He still refuses to make defensive substitutions at the end of games when the game becomes a possession by possession game (leaves Big Al in defensively). He waits way too long to call timeouts to slow momentum.

It's time to find a real coach. Corbin isn't one and won't grow into being one.

I apologize if this is a duplicate message, my computer is in Marvin Williams mode this morning (not working well). It's all been said here already. I'll just add that I feel the problems start at the top. This team was Larry Millers passion but only an after thought to Greg Miller.

Marvin Williams and Watson are sucking the life out of the team with Corbin's approval. Foye has been in a slump but I still think he has value. I feel the rotation needs to include the following 10 players only:

Point Guard - Mo Williams, Burks
Shooting guard - Hayward, Burks, Foye
Small Forward - Carroll, Hayward, Millsap, Evans
Power Forward - Kanter, Favors, Millsap, Jefferson
Center - Favors, Jefferson, Kanter

That's 10 players most of which can play 2 positions or more. My starting preference would be Mo,Hayward,Carroll,Kanter and Favors with Burks off the bench at either the 1 or 2 spot and then Foye,Evans,Millsap and Jefferson helping at the 2,3,4 and 5 positions as needed. I really don't care though who starts but the core 4 minutes need to be increasing.

I usually like giving a guy a chance when it comes to coaching, but what I saw last night was too much to bare. I could have coached a win last night….And I've coached a few killer church ball squads….. A few glaring coaching mistakes lost the game last night - you have all revealed them. Where is the sound coaching? Why don't they start Burks and Carol? Being that they are very short handed, why don't they sign any other PG to a 10 day contract? This to me would show that they are trying anything they can to make the playoffs. I mean how in the heck do you sit a guy (Favor Flave) for the last quarter and OT that has dominated the entire game??? The Jazz front office and coaching do crazy things, they always have.... Last nights debacle took the cake.

@Hugh G. Hater

I dont want to start something that isnt there, but it seems like everyone assumes Favors and Burks would leave, given the chance. And I feel like there is this assumption that the african-american athletes dont like Utah, or maybe even that they are more likely to leave for more money. I dont know why Hugh G. Hater thinks Burks and Favors will leave, but I thought that should be pointed out. I could see Kanter wanting to stay the most--he's wanted to follow in Memo's steps for a long time and has been a Jazz fan. But, in my opinion, Hayward would be the most likely to want to leave--He's clearly an Indiana kid and no doubt would want to play back home.

Nothing better to do than troll the Jazz comment boards? Of course Rocket fans are sick of getting beat in the post season by the Jazz, so I understand your frustration with the Jazz organization. Sounds like Stockton's 3 still hurts all these years later.....

I doubt anyone from the Jazz front office reads these comments (or would even care what the fans think) but last night's game had to be the most frustrating of the season! I kept saying to my husband "When are they going to put Favors back in?" When it got down to less than 2 minutes in the 4th quarter, I said "Is Favors hurt? Did he foul out? Why isn't he playing?"

Then unbelievably, he doesn't play in overtime either!!!

I put this loss squarely on Coach Corbin's shoulders. I'm a girl and I could have coached that game better!

Sounds like the natives are getting a little testy. I, for one, am not too surprised that Marvin Williams is a bust. And I thought that Foye was our three-point solution. I guess the Clippers knew what they were doing when they gladly gave him up. And by the way, since when did Earl Watson ever became a go-to guy? The Jazz management must be licking their wounds when they realize what a massive mistake they made bringing in the group they brought in this past off-season. What is there, eight contracts that end this Summer? I wouldn't re-sign any of them. Rookies, draft players, and D-league players would do better than this lot.

Like i said...we have a below average coach...and we will be stuck in mediocrity....
